I had a Baby Trend Expedition stroller in 2002 and they used to run closer to $200 if I remember correctly but were also made better, like they included a hand brake. I also remember when I used to adjust the hood or the seat to recline/go up it used to be more smooth but with this newer version everything seems to be made more cheap, like the hood seems to stick more when you try to move it. Also the string you use to adjust the straps for the seat to recline are definitely cheaper, you just pull the strings through the mechanism/bead thing but the old mechanism had a thing where you squeezed it first on ... Large bicycle tires outfit this
