Washed all items before using and didn't try to fit prior, that being said, the bed skirt does not fit, it's too short. The sheet fits fine and the bumper pads could fit better, but only using one right now. I haven't used the blanket yet. I ordered months before I needed and didn't set up right away as we had moved and baby slept in bassinet for 2 1/2 months, otherwise I may have tried to return.
